We are currently assisting our client, a leader in helicopter services, in their search for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) M2 for permanent positions in Borden, ON. If you are a skilled professional with experience in Bell-type helicopters, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines, and components.
- Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Test repaired aircraft systems for proper performance, and perform cleaning and lubricating equipment along with other routine maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues and develop corrective actions.
- Record problems and actions taken.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records of the aircraft.
- May act as Crew Chief on certain projects.
- Assist in the instruction and training of apprentices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
- Military AVN training on CH-146.
- Valid Transport Canada AME "M" Type license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on Bell-type helicopters.
- Type endorsement on Bell 412.
- Proficient in using electronic and paper-based manuals and navigating vendor data.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards.
