Integration Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION DETAILS:

This Integration Specialist role will be reporting to the Director of IT. The Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect various systems and applications within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of integration technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hybrid role encompassing four key functions: Production Support, Implementation, Business Analyst, and QA
  • Serve as the main contact for Integration Support and manage the integration support inbox.
  • Provide application-level production support, ensuring the seamless operation of integrated systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration and application issues, delivering timely resolutions.
  • Lead onboarding efforts for AMCs and Lenders within the integration process.
  • Train AMCs and Lenders on integration protocols and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain integration solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Scope and define technical integration requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Participate in Scrum calls to align with Agile development cycles.
  • Produce and maintain thorough documentation to support technical integration and process clarity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate integration needs into actionable technical specifications.
  • Perform QA on integration components to ensure functionality and quality standards are met.
  • Design and develop integration solutions using various technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware, ETL tools).
  • Stay current with emerging integration technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and fellow team members.
  • Document integration processes and solutions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in integration technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware, ETL tools).
  • Strong understanding of data formats (e.g., JSON, XML) and data exchange protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
