Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Developer to join our fast-paced, innovation-driven team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse infrastructure, while also creating insightful, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Your expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and modern data technologies will be key to delivering high-quality, reliable data solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

The organization is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, modernizing critical systems and investing in technologies that drive operational excellence and customer value. They have recently launched a new ERP, implemented a GPS delivery tracking system, and upgraded to a digital telephony system. The warehouse operations now include automated conveyors, handheld WMS devices, and even autonomous vehicles. They are now preparing for our next step: B2C eCommerce. As they continue to build the foundation for a data-driven future, this role will play a vital part in delivering the insights needed to guide their success.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and reporting.
• Build and optimize ETL processes to move and transform data from various sources.
• Tune SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
• Implement data governance and quality standards to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Deliver interactive, insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and build scalable data models.
• Collaborate across departments to align data architecture and solutions with business goals.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in BI, data warehousing, and visualization.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Warehouse or BI Developer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
• Advanced skills in Power BI and data visualization.
• Familiarity with Azure and OneLake/DataLake architecture.
• Experience working in complex, retail IT environments.
• Solid understanding of IT systems, data modeling, and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Knowledge of retail business concepts and operations is an asset.
