Are you a builder who lives and breathes recruitment?

Talent Harbour is scaling fast-both organically and through acquisition. We're looking for a Director of Recruitment to lead and grow our recruiting division. You'll take full ownership of our internal recruitment team, oversee client delivery, and build out the structure to scale-whether we're hiring for ourselves or managing large client mandates.

This is a leadership role for someone who's hands-on, driven, and thrives in a high-growth, high-accountability environment. If you've built, led, and elevated recruiting teams-and know what great delivery looks like-we want to talk.

What You'll Own

  • Lead, coach, and grow our internal team of recruiters
  • Ensure high-quality delivery across all recruiting mandates
  • Set and manage KPIs, scorecards, and performance standards
  • Step in to support client work when needed-model excellence
  • Build recruiting systems, SOPs, and scalable infrastructure
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and ramp-up for new recruiters
  • Oversee hiring for internal roles (recruiters, consultants, and sales team)

What We're Looking For

  • You've led full-cycle recruitment teams-and know how to drive results
  • You're operationally sharp, systems-minded, and execution-focused
  • You've hired, trained, and developed high-performing recruiters
  • You understand the difference between filling jobs and delivering client value
  • You thrive in fast-paced, no-excuse environments and love building from the ground up
  • You're comfortable being in the weeds when needed-but think strategically
  • Bonus: experience in executive search, RPO, or managing large delivery teams

Ideal Backgrounds

  • Senior Recruiter or Team Lead ready to step into a Director role
  • Recruitment Manager or Delivery Lead from a search, staffing, or consulting firm
  • Entrepreneurial leader who's built recruiting teams internally or externally
  • Someone ready to take ownership and grow with a high-performing firm

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonus structure tied to client delivery and team success
  • Total Earnings Potential: $150,000-$200,000+ for high performers
  • No cap on what you can earn when you deliver results and drive team success

Location

  • Burnaby, BC (In-office, 5 days/week)
  • Office may relocate to Port Moody or the Tri-Cities area in the near future
