WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The planning and optimization group is the core of our organization, responsible for applying highly analytical and quantitative approaches to deliver campaign performance. The P&O Sr. Analyst position is responsible for setting up, managing and monitoring campaign performance.

They must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs. They have the ability to translate those needs into trading objectives, the willingness to implement trading strategies into trading systems, and curiosity to dive deep into large data sets, execute analysis, and develop advertiser insights.

The Sr. Analyst works to ensure campaigns run smoothly - troubleshooting technical issues, delivering reports, and optimizing campaigns to client objectives, while delivering valuable insights to the client. They also work collaboratively with their peers, sharing trading and campaign insights with the group.

What you will do in this role:

  • Master media buying-related technologies, including DSPs, DMPs, 3rd party ad servers and manual exchanges
  • Set up campaigns accurately in different DSPs, ensuring ad tags and creative are loaded correctly into the systems. If appropriate, make sure the creatives are approved before campaign launch date
  • Manage campaigns including strategy development, project management, optimizations, report delivery and client communication.
  • Understand client performance objectives and develop successful strategies to meet them
  • Have a strong understanding of P&O best practices and when to apply them on client campaigns
  • Have a geek-level understanding of campaign, ad server, impression, and user data that can help capitalize on key drivers of performance and identify opportunities for account growth
  • Executes thorough QA of assigned campaigns
  • Provide Senior Manager or Agency Director with account updates, including new investment opportunities
  • Interact and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop a deep understanding of the capabilities and limits of the technologies we employ, including DSPs, DFA, Data providers, etc.

Insights:

  • Organize and pivot data information in a digestible fashion
  • Provide strategic campaign measurement recommendations that correlate to the targeting and brand objectives
  • Acts as liaison between Programmatic team and Marketing Science team to ensure the data dashboards correct and regular inflow of data + QA the dashboard's data on an ongoing basis.

You are the desired candidate if you have:

  • Minimum experience of 1 to 1.5 years in a similar position
  • Platform experience: DV360, Amazon, TTD, Yahoo, Google Adwords
  • Good stress management and ability to meet tight and rigorous deadlines
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Passion for media and new technologies
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on MS Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent mastery of the English language (both oral and written)
