The Marketing Manager position supports the increasing expansion of our physician-driven product portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create and implement the best go-to market strategies for our products;
  • Develop, implement, and manage all promotional and educational initiatives (tools, programs, Patient Support Program);
  • Drive customer share of voice tactics, messages for field force, and customer engagement programs;
  • Monitor market competition;
  • Follow the implementation of cycle promotion with the field force, analyze feedback and propose changes and improvements when necessary
  • Devise and recommend appropriate product strategies through the analysis of available data;
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and strategic budget management for customer initiatives;
  • Develop and maintain preferred partner relationships with key customers across Canada in collaboration with the Sales team, Field Medical Managers (FMMs) and the Retail National Accounts field team;
  • Support the Marketing Director in the development of internal and external presentations;
  • Foster strong working relationships with our global/regional teams to leverage best practices and demonstrate Canadian leadership;
  • Ensure adherence to all internal & external codes, including Innovative Medicines Code of Ethical Practices, Health Canada, and all other relevant regulations

What you'll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business or Health Sciences, MBA preferred;
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business analytics in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry OR at least 3 years in another commercial role (e.g. business analyst, sales training, medical education, marketing, sales etc.);
  • Proven track record of driving innovative commercial strategies;
  • In-depth understanding of the market environment, competitive landscape, and opportunities;
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory. Due to the nature of our operations, oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally;
  • Deep customer expertise, results-driven and capacity to lead, coach, motivate, and inspire
  • Anticipate needs and develop solutions;
  • Strong analytical, collaborative, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills. Thrive in changing and ambiguous environments requiring flexibility, agility, and creativity;
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and coordinate several projects simultaneously requiring flexibility and a positive attitude towards adapting to changing priorities;
  • Understanding of the nature of the competitive market and anticipate possible impacts likely to impact the performance and potential of the brands.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in ophthalmology and/or immunology is a strong asset;
  • Experience with launches.
