Role Description

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Leasing Manager to join our residential leasing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing & Occupancy Management

  • Manage the full leasing cycle: marketing, leads, showings, applications, tenant screening, lease negotiations and closings.
  • Manage all renewal activities ensuring: eligible residents receive timely renewal offers, all offers are followed up in advance of lease expiry, renewal documentation is uploaded, revised and cross checked for accuracy.
  • Maintain high occupancy rates across the residential portfolio through proactive leasing strategies.
  • Ensure all leasing activities comply with Equium Group policies and relevant legislation.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate leasing records using property management software (e.g., Yardi, Rhenti, or equivalent).
  • Prepare regular reports on leasing activity, occupancy trends, and upcoming vacancies.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform pricing and marketing strategies.

Team Support & Collaboration

  • Support the leasing team, providing training, coaching, and process improvement suggestions.
  • Collaborate closely with property managers, maintenance, and administrative teams to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed with RECA
  • 4+ years of experience in residential leasing or property management.
  • Proven track record managing high-volume of leasing transactions.
  • Strong understanding of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
