Salary: $50,000 - $110,000+ DOE

About the Company

Our client is a growing and well-established building envelope construction company based in Manitoba and are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role is critical to the success of their commercial and institutional projects, ranging from small cladding repairs to large-scale, technically complex builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tendering and bidding opportunities from start to finish
• Act as the first point of contact for customers seeking proposals
• Prepare detailed proposals including take-offs, drawing/spec reviews, supplier pricing, and bid negotiations
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments
• Provide strategic input to senior management on trends, risks, and opportunities
• Occasionally travel to job sites in Winnipeg for meetings with clients and partners

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Strong background in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction
• Expert-level blueprint reading and specification review
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized and capable of managing 5-7 projects simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in written and spoken English
