Job Description

A leading global brand is seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee and drive delivery of complex Data Warehouse initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep experience in Agile project management, excels at cross-functional coordination, and brings a forward-thinking mindset to solving business and technology challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Leadership:
• Manage Data Warehouse and BI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals across scope, cost, and schedule.
• Agile Execution & Delivery:
• Drive Agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking. Maintain velocity metrics and track team progress.
• Status Reporting:
• Provide clear and actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates on project status, risks, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stakeholder & Client Communication:
• Lead client interactions, partner with business and technical leaders, and translate business needs into actionable deliverables.
• Team Enablement:
• Mobilize and guide cross-functional teams through requirement gathering, development, testing, and release phases.
• Innovation & Value Focus:
• Identify and drive continuous improvements and innovations that have direct impact on business deliverables and user experience.
• Tech Exploration:
• Participate in early adoption and evaluation of emerging technologies, supporting long-term platform and architecture decisions.
• On-Site Collaboration:
• Work on-site with the client team in Vancouver as needed to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical program or project management roles
• Demonstrated success leading Data Warehouse / BI / Analytics projects
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.)
• Strong track record of managing scope, budget, and schedules across multiple teams
• Experience in preparing dashboards, sprint metrics, and executive-level reporting
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate strategically while diving into execution-level details when needed
• Experience working in fast-paced, consumer-focused environments is an asset

Preferred (Plus)

• Prior experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for data workloads
• Advanced certification (CSM, CSPO, SAFe Program Consultant, PMP)
