Job Duties: To read and translate blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes. Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware. Maintain and renovate residences wooden structures. Job Requirement: Completion of Secondary school is required. 2-3 years of experience in the related field. Willing to travel to various sites in Lower Mainland, BC. Terms of Employment: Wage: $36.75 per hour for 40 hours per week. Overtime will start after 40 hours a week.
