Reports To: Vice President, Industrial Sales

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales/Pricing Analyst to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our pricing structure, conducting market research, and analyzing profitability across customers and products. This position also supports the sales team by developing accurate and monthly territory forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

Price Catalogue Maintenance:

  • Maintain and update the pricing catalogue to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business strategies and market conditions.

Market Research:

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor pricing, and macroeconomic factors to support pricing strategy and market positioning.

Customer Profitability Analysis:

  • Evaluate profitability at the customer level, identifying opportunities for margin improvement, and supporting sales negotiations with data-driven insights.

Product Profitability Analysis:

  • Analyze margins and performance by product line to inform product mix, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts.

Monthly Territory Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to build and refine monthly sales forecasts by territory, using historical trends, pipeline data, and market inputs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a pricing, sales analytics, or financial analysis role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus (e.g., IFS, Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and commercial operations.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, finance, and product teams.

Salary Range - $65,000 to $80,000 w/ competitive company benefits and potential annual bonus
