LeverageTek is actively seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst (Unit 4 ERP Finance) for a 12-month contract with it's Ottawa based customer.

Work Location:

Remote but must be located in the GTA or Ottawa and be willing to go into the office if required - this will be a mostly remote work arrangement

Key Taks

• As a subject matter expert you will work closely with the Finance team, IT, and project management resources
• Documentation: System and business requirements documentation outlining the technical and/or business requirements of the Finance team for the ERP system migration, the implementation of the new Finance modules, as well other enhancements in scope.
• Planning/Activity updates: Collaborate to the development of the project plan. Develop Finance specific workplans. Provide project core team updates to timelines/milestones and highlight any potential risks/delays.
• Finance team project updates: Regular project updates to the Controller and management/senior management team, including flagging concerns and providing recommendations to resolve issues.
• Test cases: Develop test cases; execute or coordinate execution of the tests by users; and review results to ensure system functionality meets requirements.
• Recommendations: Report recommendations for review surrounding current business/system process and functionality and identify areas for improvement and/or alignment with business industry standard.
• User documentation: Develop user-friendly documentation, communication, and learning materials to support system adoption.
• Training sessions: Coordinate and deliver training sessions to ensure stakeholders are equipped to use the new system, information browsers and new modules.
• Presentations: In collaboration with the core team, develop and present materials to launch/demo new functions/features to management/senior management team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with experience in implementing new systems or large-scale changes related to Corporate ERP systems.
• Strong working knowledge of core finance modules in Unit4 ERP such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Income Invoice Register, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, Travel, Planner, etc.
• Strong experience with System Configuration, User Acceptance Testing and Systems Integration Testing activities related to ERP systems implementations, upgrades or enhancements.

Assets

• Experience in other Unit4 ERP modules/tools such as FP&A, Commitments, Information browsers, etc. are considered an asset.
• Experience in accounting processes is an asset.
• Experience with JIRA or similar software.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project coordination skills.
