What You'll Do:
- Manage the full lifecycle of access for employees, contractors, third parties, and brokers - from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Administer user accounts across key platforms including Active Directory, ISAM, LDAP, and other business applications.
- Support IT audit requirements by collecting and reviewing evidence, and developing remediation plans where necessary.
- Ensure service requests meet SLAs and support smooth operational processes.
- Participate in Access Management and Broker Sanctioning projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously improve processes to align with governance, risk, and compliance policies.
- Maintain operational controls to support security policies and audit compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities, to enhance efficiency and customer service.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic certification.
- At least 1 year of IAM experience within a financial or insurance institution.
- Solid understanding of key IAM principles: Least Privilege, Segregation of Duties, Confidentiality, and Integrity.
- Experience with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Active Directory, LDAP, IBM Security Access Manager, Privileged Access Management, or CyberArk is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to translate technical info for non-technical partners.
- Strong time management and self-motivation to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
- A team player who shares knowledge and proactively takes ownership.
- ITIL and ISC(2) certifications are advantageous but not required.
Additional Details:
- This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at the Markham office at least 3 days a week, including Wednesdays.
- Vacation time is limited to no more than 2 weeks within a 6-month contract period, but can be split into separate days.
