Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our client in the telecommunications sectors IT team, supporting a hybrid infrastructure environment. The successful candidate will work closely with a Team Lead and Tier 3 engineers to manage and optimize endpoint deployment, device compliance, and system security using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on ensuring operational excellence and consistent end-user experience across both cloud and on-premises devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support SCCM for OS deployments, software distribution, and patch management.
- Maintain SCCM infrastructure and troubleshoot client issues, deployments, and application errors.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
- Deploy and manage compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application rollouts in Intune.
- Support hybrid-joined and Azure AD-joined devices.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure endpoint configurations align with best practices.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and remediation tasks.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for endpoint-related issues across the organization.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex issues related to device management and policy enforcement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing SCCM and Intune in an enterprise or hybrid environment.
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 deployment and system configuration.
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid domain environments.
- Familiarity with software packaging and deployment best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Windows Autopilot and Windows Hello for Business.
- Understanding of compliance and conditional access in Intune.
- Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, SC-900, or similar are an asset.
- Previous experience working in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 support role.
