Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Consultant to assess client business models and integrate them with modern Microsoft digital tools.
This role will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, managed service vendors, Microsoft, and internal IT teams.
Duration: 6 months to start
Location: hybrid 2d/week Toronto
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze client business models for alignment with Power Platform and related Office Digital tools.
- Facilitate collaboration between business units, managed service vendors, Microsoft, and IT teams.
- Gather, document, and validate solution requirements, functional designs, and user documentation.
- Contribute to solution architecture and business process documentation.
- Resolve client issues promptly, ensuring transparency and continuity in support services.
- Develop and implement enterprise-level Power Platform solutions using Agile methodologies.
- Apply scalable and maintainable design patterns for sustainable delivery of solutions.
- Manage solution promotion between development, test, and production environments.
- Maintain detailed technical and process documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Lead or support initiatives using project management best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in roles related to Microsoft Power Platform implementation.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 suite: SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, Power Apps (Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, OneDrive, Planner, Forms, PowerShell, and CoPilot Studio.
- Experience with Adobe Sign and configuration of Teams Meetings.
- Familiarity with Azure services, especially Active Directory integration.
- Proven skills in Microsoft 365 tenant configuration and SharePoint Online customization.
- Ability to engage users to troubleshoot and increase adoption of Microsoft 365 tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Support and working alongside Microsoft partners.
- Understanding of solution analysis methodologies, SDLC, and testing techniques.
- Knowledge of user/role/security management and ERP systems is an asset.
- Experience delivering training and developing educational materials is a plus.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across business and technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to Enterprise Application Integration and Managed Cloud Services support models is an advantage.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
