Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Representative to drive sales and build strong customer relationships in the janitorial cleaning solutions industry. This role is responsible for managing an assigned territory, identifying new business opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to clients in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. - Identify and prospect new customers while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.

- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our cleaning chemicals.

- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions for cleaning and hygiene requirements.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed and competitive.

- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts and perform other administrative duties as required.

- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and network with potential clients.

- Provide excellent customer service and support, promptly and professionally addressing inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in janitorial, sanitation, or cleaning solution sales.

- Strong understanding of cleaning products, disinfectants, and sanitation solutions used in commercial and industrial settings.

- Mechanical aptitude, including comfort with installing and servicing equipment that contains moving parts, seals, and sub-assemblies.

- Experience with industrial and commercial laundry and dishwasher clients, such as hotels, nursing homes, hospitals, restaurants, and other industries, is an asset.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Self-motivated with strong prospecting and relationship-building abilities.

- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and sales reporting tools.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with distributors, facility service providers, or janitorial companies.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety protocols related to cleaning solutions.

- Experience testing product concentrations or working with WHIMS-controlled substances would be helpful, but not required.

- A background in chemistry, environmental science, or a related field is a plus.
