About the Opportunity

We're working with a mid-sized, full-service Toronto law firm that's looking to add a Wills & Estates Associate to their team. This role is focused entirely on solicitor-side estate work (no litigation) - ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, thoughtful planning, and complex structuring.

You'll join a busy, established group with a steady pipeline of high-net-worth clients, business owners, and multigenerational families. The work is substantive, and the team is collaborative and invested in mentorship and growth.

What You'll Work On

This is a solicitor-side role only - no estate litigation. Files may include:

• Drafting wills and powers of attorney
• Estate and incapacity planning for individuals and families
• Trust structuring (testamentary and inter vivos)
• Tax-efficient planning for business owners and professionals
• Succession planning for privately held corporations and family enterprises
• Advising executors and trustees on estate and trust administration
• Probate and certificate of appointment applications
• Cross-border and multi-jurisdictional planning (if experienced)

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in wills & estates law (solicitor side)
• Comfortable managing files and advising clients directly
• Experience with HNW planning is an asset, but not required
• Strong drafting, communication, and client service skills
• Ontario Bar, in good standing
