Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer at Ferron Legal located in Cobourg, ON. The Lawyer will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, and managing client relationships. The Lawyer will work closely with legal and administrative staff, as well as clients, to provide exceptional legal services. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school in Canada
• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• Demonstrated expertise in litigation with a focus on family law
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders
• Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
• High level of professionalism, client service, and attention to detail
• A commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession and in the community
