XNRGY is seeking a qualified Human Resources Director to join its team located in St-Hubert. Reporting to the VP of People and Employee Engagement, this person is responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives across manufacturing operations, leading the HR function at the St-Hubert plant and supporting the exempt population for XNRGY's Canadian operations. The HR Director partners with plant leadership to boost employee engagement, ensure compliance, and cultivate a high-performance culture.
An overview of your responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with XNRGY's mission, values, and business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Operational team on all HR-related matters. Participate in weekly Operational Roundtables providing HR expertise and insight to maximize operational efficiencies through workforce management and planning.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management & Development: Implement robust performance management frameworks, including coaching, training, career development programs. Lead and manage the Plant's Annual Performance and Development Process, Merit Reviews and support leadership development and succession planning.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with evolving employment laws and regulations proactively managing risk and employee relations matters while ensuring employee adherence to company policies.
- Workforce Planning & Operational Support: Work with onsite operational leaders to establish correct staffing levels, effective workforce planning, and optimized productivity. Leverage HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of people strategies, including retention, engagement, talent development and training, while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth.
- Change Management & Organizational Development: Lead HR strategies that support business transformation, acting as a key advisor during change initiatives to promote agility, innovation, and operational continuity.
What you'll need, among other things!
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CRHA or a master's degree is an asset)
- Proven ability to drive organizational results through effective HR strategies
- Ability to inspire, influence, and lead change across the organization
- Experienced team builder who encourages ownership, celebrates success, and drives team performance aligned with business goals
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain strong, collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in French and English
