You'll collaborate closely with specifiers, distributors, and contractors while contributing to the development of a scalable, data-driven sales operating system using HubSpot CRM. You'll need to be sharp, driven, and able to navigate long sales cycles involving high-ticket, customized solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive New Business

  • Proactively prospect new construction and landscape clients across the East Coast.
  • Maintain a full pipeline and consistently pursue new opportunities.

2. Nurture High-Value Relationships

  • Build trust and rapport quickly and authentically.
  • Leverage long-term relationships to unlock repeat and referral business.

3. Collaborate for Project Success

  • Engage with specifiers, distributors, and contractors to align on project goals.
  • Use a consultative approach to identify value-based solutions.

4. Sales Operations & CRM Mastery

  • Leverage HubSpot CRM daily to manage leads, track activity, and enhance conversion rates.
  • Contribute to a high-standards, measurable sales system.

5. Territory & Strategy Alignment

  • Tailor strategies using regional insights and stakeholder feedback.
  • Align closely with broader company initiatives and go-to-market plans.

6. Be Data-Driven and Metrics-Obsessed

  • Monitor KPIs to drive better sales performance.
  • Learn, adjust, and optimize based on real-world feedback and analytics.

7. SOP & Sales Enablement

  • Create documentation and Loom video SOPs for all critical processes.
  • Be part of building a world-class sales playbook.
  • Success Metrics (OKRs)
  • You'll be measured against:
  • % new client growth within six months.
  • Increased client retention & satisfaction scores.
  • Full CRM utilization with deal conversion improvements.
  • Delivery of territory-specific strategies and timely reporting.

Requirements What We're Looking For

  • 3-5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or strategic account management.
  • Background in construction, landscaping, or infrastructure (highly preferred).
  • Confidence with consultative selling, value selling, and negotiating at C-level.
  • Strong CRM user (HubSpot proficiency is a plus).
  • Based in Greater Toronto Area with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
  • Comfortable working independently, staying objective in high-pressure environments, and handling rejection with resilience.

Ideal Candidate Trait

While this role is open, we're particularly excited about candidates who demonstrate:

  • Consultative strength: Able to ask tough questions and uncover compelling reasons to buy.
  • Hunting mindset: Proactive in prospecting, confident in reaching decision-makers, and capable of maintaining a full pipeline.
  • Sales DNA: Not needing approval, staying in the moment, and pushing past surface objections.
  • CRM and tech fluency: Able to document, manage, and analyze sales activities digitally with consistency.
  • Negotiation savvy: Strong ability to navigate complex sales cycles and win-win outcomes.

Benefits Why Join Citygreen?

  • Join a purpose-led company helping shape greener cities.
