Our client is a national law firm that has been operating for well over 100 years. They specialize on corporate and litigation files. The law firm has fostered an environment where everyone enjoys working together to accomplish their objectives. They always try to make positive impacts to their culture, clients, and the overall community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on commercial litigation files
  • Ability to represent clients professionally in court and in front of tribunals
  • Prepare detailed files and take the best course of actions to complete those files
  • Possess an understanding and have a passion for working on commercial litigation files
  • Perform the proper due diligence to attain all relevant information for files
  • Develop and maintain superior relationships with clients and other team members
  • Understand clients' needs to get the best outcome for them
  • Be comfortable with business development
  • Possess the ability to go into court and act in the best interest of their clients
  • Communicate with clients before, during and after receiving a file
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards

Successful candidates must have:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Commercial Litigation Lawyer
  • Extremely detail oriented with ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Have sound judgment and the ability to understand their client's perspectives
  • Ability to provide superior services to clients
  • Handle the caseload from beginning to end
  • Member of the B.C BAR and in good standing
  • Ability to provide clear direction and comfortable with delegating tasks

Compensation

  • Salary between $140,000/year to $190,000/year
