Title: Content Designer
Duration: 12+ month contract (with potential extension)
Location: Required to work in work in-office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and working remote on Wednesday and Friday.
Standard: 9-5, 7.5 hours daily, 37.50 hours weekly
Payrate: $68-73/hr. INC OR $59-62/hr. T4
What will the designer be working on?
The designer will be working on designing solutions for the Investments Mega Journey which include services and platforms that caters to both clients and internal advisors and is presented in a web responsive format. The designer will work closely with a cross-functional team and various stakeholders to define the experience and requirements to meet business objectives and user needs.
What are the main responsibilities of the role?
• Creates content artifacts for digital media to exchange information, elicit emotion and facilitate interaction
o In the form of UI content, accessibility content, labels, explanatory text, hidden or alternative text, metadata, support and go-to-market content to explore, communicate intent, and validate ideas for complex systems and inter-related client experiences
• Understand the problem/opportunity and use 'design thinking' methods to formulate solutions
• Collaborate with the design team and cross-functional partners to align on solutions and its delivery
• Partners with peers to shape and develop non-textual content (i.e. iconography, information graphics, imagery and data)
• Performs Content Design audits where appropriate
• Collaborates with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams to ensure all content satisfies governance requirements while still meeting clients' needs
• Manages end-to-end translation process with internal and external partners
• Apply content guidelines and standards to ensure solutions adhere to tone and voice
