The Senior Human Resources Consultant will work closely with the Vice President, Professional Services to grow and maintain Legacy Bowes' regional operations. Legacy Bowes is a proud business entity of the TIPI Group of Companies, and this role plays a key part in supporting its mission across the province.

This position combines high-impact consulting with business development responsibilities. You will engage directly with clients to identify HR needs, design robust solutions, create service contracts, and oversee the successful delivery of services. In addition to delivering expert HR support, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships, and converting prospects into long-term clients.

The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. You will work with a range of small to mid-sized organizations and First Nation communities, delivering tailored solutions that help them build strong, sustainable HR foundations.

  • Collaborate with established clients to identify and address evolving HR Services requirements, strengthening client relationships and expanding service offerings.
  • Ensure the timely follow-up and resolution of overdue customer accounts, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction and financial accuracy.
  • Represent Legacy Bowes at conferences, delivering impactful presentations and thought leadership to current and prospective clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of outside consultants within your region, ensuring alignment with company goals and continuous professional growth.

Your Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to empathize with clients, providing compassionate coaching and guidance through challenging situations and critical decision-making processes.
  • Proven track record of identifying new opportunities and successfully driving them to completion, ensuring outcomes align with client objectives.
  • Highly proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR legislation and common law across provincial and federal jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and best practices in all HR matters.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Indigenous communities and unique HR considerations, promoting culturally sensitive and inclusive practices in the workplace.
