We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our client's Digital Marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of marketing activities, including digital media, website management, e-retail, and content development. This is a 12 month contract which has the potential to move to a full-time role after the initial contract period. The talent will be required to work onsite 3 days per week at one of our client's offices either in Montreal, QC or Milton, ON.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management
- Partner with the category marketing team to define website strategies that support business objectives.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of new and existing websites in collaboration with a web agency-from initial design to implementation.
- Ensure proper configuration and functionality of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Support project timelines, planning, and regular content updates with the website agency.
- Conduct routine website updates to maintain optimal user experience and performance.
- Monitor analytics to identify improvement opportunities and assist in implementing SEO enhancements and new website features (e.g., live chat, chatbots).
Content Creation & Management
- Contribute to the creation of digital content such as copywriting, banners, social media graphics, and more.
- Write, proofread, and optimize content for websites, e-retail platforms, and digital campaigns with an SEO focus.
- Research competitor strategies and market trends to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Coordinate with creative agencies to produce high-quality content while maintaining brand consistency.
Media Support & Analytics
- Support the execution of digital media campaigns across multiple channels, including Search, Social, CTV, and Programmatic.
- Track performance, monitor optimizations, and help maintain internal benchmarks.
- Assist in compiling performance reports across web, email, and campaign efforts.
- Provide data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies.
E-Retail Support
- Work with the marketing team to craft content strategies tailored to retailer audiences.
- Maintain and update content on e-retailer portals to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Assist with optimizing product descriptions, titles, and visuals for e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with agencies to produce impactful e-retail content.
General Marketing Support
- Contribute to broader digital marketing initiatives as needed to support team goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing (brand or agency side).
- Excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with platforms and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Data Studio, WordPress, Shopify, Bazaarvoice, and SEMrush.
- Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, social media, and e-commerce best practices.
- Analytical and creative thinker with a passion for optimizing user experience and content value.
- Strong collaborator with proven ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
- Experience working closely with external agencies is essential.
- Budget management experience is a strong asset.
