Position Overview: Aarista is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software QA Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our healthcare IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.

Manual and Automated Testing:

  • Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure functionality.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.

Defect Management:

  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
  • Work closely with the development team to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
  • Verify defect fixes and perform follow-up testing.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure software products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and testability.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and present test reports, including test coverage, defect metrics, and quality assessments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman).
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and scripting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in healthcare IT is a plus.
