Job title: DevOps/Systems Administrator

Client: Elite FinTech Firm - Award winning, tech focused run by passionate Computer Scientists

Experience Level: 4+ Years

Salary: Up to $250k CAD + Industry Leading Bonus

Location: Montreal (Hybrid)

My client are looking for a highly-talented DevOps and HPC Sys Admins to work in one of their systems teams. They have an unlimited budget for optimising their infrastructure

You'll likely work on all of the below but spend most of your time in one main area:

  • Build and optimise next gen Linux infrastructure on a HPC Cluster with over 1PB memory, 20K GPUs and 100k CPUs
  • Architecting a brand new on premise kubernetes infrastructure
  • Working in their high performance DevOps function (building and optimising CI/CD pipelines etc.!)
  • A brand new observability platform dealing with over 6 million requests per second and working on tracing and OpenTelemetry (as well as exploring ML for Observability)
  • Automate anything and everything with Python & config tools

Skills/Experience

  • Systems Engineering experience in a high-availability &/or low-latency environment
  • Strong experience with scripting/automation is highly preferred (Python, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Exposure to on premise storage/Bare Metal infrastructure
  • Interest in DevOps
