Position Title: Tech Lead (2)

Duration: 6 Months

Extension Possible: Yes

Full-Time Conversion: Not Applicable

Location: Remote

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full automation development lifecycle, including feasibility analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment using automation tools.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver end-to-end automation solutions.
  • Analyze, develop, test, and implement new software features while maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the development cycle.
  • Ensure all solutions meet security, performance, logging, and error handling standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for integration and assess their impact on processes, data, and risk.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and rectify faults in existing systems.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and documentation, contributing technical insight to business discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to release management procedures and version control practices.
  • Work independently on complex tasks, applying sound judgment to resolve technical issues.

Advanced Proficiencies:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Python, PowerApps)
  • Proficiency in automation development, scripting, and testing
  • Deep understanding of applications integration, test-driven development, system lifecycle management, and troubleshooting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative abilities
  • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making approach
  • 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent education/experience
  • Prior banking domain experience is considered an asset
  • Candidates must have both strong development skills and tech lead experience

Interview Process:

  • Round 1: 30-minute MS Teams interview with the Hiring Manager and team members
  • Format: Behavioral and situational-based questions
