POSITION: Used Equipment Sales Manager
STATUS: Full-time
REPORTS TO: Senior Director, Fleet Planning
CLIENT BASE: Wholesale buyers, exporters, dealerships, brokers, auction houses
SCOPE: Drive used equipment sales through the wholesale channel, optimize pricing and volume for asset disposal across multiple channels including retail, wholesale, and auction
GEOGRAPHY: Primary: Edmonton & Calgary (Urban market focus)
Secondary: Canada-wide & U.S. exposure, with potential for overseas sales
TRAVEL: Moderate; required across Alberta and potentially cross-border for client and equipment site visits
REMUNERATION: Base + Commission
OTE: $140,000 - $200,000+ (based on experience and performance)

ROLE SPECIFICS:
- Responsible for maximizing sales proceeds and volume of used equipment sold
- Build, manage, and grow a diverse book of business with brokers, dealers, and exporters
- Evaluate market timing and pricing strategy based on equipment type and condition
- Work collaboratively with branch managers, fleet, and operations across Canada
- Handle negotiation, logistics, and execution of sales
- Conduct market evaluations and optimize geographic sales channels
- Manage hundreds of units monthly: excavators, telehandlers, booms, forklifts, compressors, generators, and more
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in used equipment sales: wholesale, retail, auction
- Strong industry network in dealerships, OEMs, exporters, and auction companies
- Ability to evaluate equipment condition and pricing strategy
- Skilled negotiator with high EQ and conflict resolution ability
- Strong Excel and CRM proficiency
- Ability to sell persuasively and manage complex deals
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license and clean record
