JOB SUMMARY
As a Sales Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in growing business by developing trusted relationships with advisors and clients. You'll lead sales initiatives, educate stakeholders on solutions, and manage the client funnel to support successful deal implementation. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, organization, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Operations & Client Engagement
- Lead client meetings and tailor presentations to client needs and business goals
- Assess and manage your sales funnel to forecast deal potential and timelines
- Gather client insights to develop accurate quotes and business cases
- Maintain up-to-date schedules and manage follow-ups efficiently
- Submit accurate reporting and expenses in a timely manner
Advisor Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for advisors
- Build long-term partnerships through thoughtful dialogue and solution-based selling
- Address objections effectively and resolve concerns to foster trust and collaboration
- Ensure high levels of advisor satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Sales Strategy & Market Insight
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong client pipeline
- Monitor market and competitive trends to inform and adapt sales tactics
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute growth strategies
Product Expertise & Team Collaboration
- Stay informed on offerings, services, and market trends
- Deliver clear, tailored product presentations to clients and advisors
- Participate in team meetings and align with broader sales objectives
- Work closely with sales support staff to ensure seamless execution and CRM accuracy
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven success in a commission-based sales environment
- Strong sales process knowledge-from lead generation to closing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience in finance, insurance, wealth management, or a related field is an asset
- A strong professional network or experience working with high-net-worth clients and financial advisors is preferred.
