Overall Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Director of International Sales, the International Account Manager will be responsible for the Costco International portfolio including both the Jamieson and youtheory brands. Operating with a General Manager mindset, they will cultivate and enhance relationships, ensuring alignment between account needs and overall business objectives.

As the key owner and point of contact for Costco in specific regions, this individual will collaborate with all internal and external cross-functional teams to communicate, align, and execute key account strategies and plans. This role will be responsible for the overall P&L for Costco and help build the Annual Operating Plan each year, driven by a commitment to excellence and alignment with Jamieson Values.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversees the Costco P&L to ensure delivery on the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Serves as the primary liaison to the account category manager, facilitating regular structured meetings both in person and virtually.
  • Responsible for presenting promotional plans, potential innovation, campaigns, cost updates and other account related activities.
  • Facilitate project management of new product launches, particularly as it relates to customer deliverables and requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely milestone completion.
  • Manages the forecast and inventory availability and work closely with internal departments to ensure we can accommodate product availability within a reasonable time frame as well as address any potential issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with International Marketing Manager contacts to understand the optimal product portfolio in the regions and plan accordingly to launch NPI's in accordance with the IBU strategy.
  • Work closely with all the rest of the International Department to provide insights for the Customer/Region and rally the team towards our common goals.
  • Takes ownership of risks and opportunities in account plans to contribute to exceeding annual sales targets
  • Takes a proactive role in managing trade and can understand and communicate trade spend, with a focus on improving Jamieson's ROI to achieving desired shipment and POS sales results.
  • Assist and perform other tasks required to maintain a successful flow of business within the sales and marketing of Jamieson brands including quarterly business reviews and annual budgeting processes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

Business or Science degree, MBA considered an asset

  • Able to influence and lead with diplomacy
  • Position will require occasional travel and flexibility in working with other time zones
  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing, planning, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory, Finance and Marketing functions
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, MRP, PowerPoint, MS Project
