Position Overview:
As a Territory Sales Representative, you will manage and grow sales within a designated geographic territory. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving sales to meet or exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and increase market share within your assigned territory.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and clients, promoting category and product awareness to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Manage your sales pipeline by nurturing leads and creating plans to achieve revenue and conversion targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats within your territory.
- Track and report on sales performance, including progress against targets, customer feedback, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and ensure effective communication of promotions and campaigns.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry or territory-based role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize competing demands within gas and convenience store retailers and internally.
- Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of driving category leadership sales execution.
- Enthusiasm for enhancing customer satisfaction and developing relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
