Overview:

The Commercial Product Manager will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of ASUS commercial products in the Canadian market, including business laptops, desktops, workstations, and related peripherals. The role emphasizes strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and execution of go-to-market strategies that align with corporate objectives. The Commercial Product Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Service, Distribution, and Global HQ teams. This position requires a high level of business acumen, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of B2B market dynamics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial products including product planning, launch, and end-of-life processes

• Define product strategies by analyzing market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and business opportunities in B2B verticals such as education, healthcare, government, and enterprise

• Conduct customer and channel partner meetings (e.g., CDW, Insight, Softchoice) to gather feedback and improve product positioning and offerings

• Collaborate with engineering, HQ, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product requirements and development timelines

• Lead product roadmapping sessions and regularly communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders

• Support channel sales teams with technical expertise, training materials, and business development initiatives

• Oversee inventory planning and forecasting to optimize product availability and minimize excess stock

• Establish pricing strategies and promotional programs based on competitive analysis and margin targets

• Participate in weekly HQ conference calls (Monday to Thursday, 8 PM to 12 AM) to discuss product updates, supply chain status, and Canada market feedback

• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams in Taiwan and China to ensure timely delivery and product availability

• Monitor and report on product performance, generating actionable insights and recommendations

• Track program execution, analyze campaign effectiveness, and recommend improvements for future initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience in commercial product management or business development in the IT industry

• Experience in the B2B sector with knowledge of channel sales and enterprise procurement processes

• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and strategic thinking skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; capable of building effective presentations and reports for executive-level audiences

• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functional teams in a matrix organization

• Skilled in financial modeling and pricing strategy development
