About the Company:
Our client, a leading international law firm is seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk to join their dynamic team and support their busy real estate practice.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of real estate and lending processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage files independently from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and land development projects.
- Conduct and review due diligence, including title and off-title searches, corporate and zoning due diligence, and preparation of title summaries.
- Coordinate with title insurers, municipalities, and third-party service providers.
- Prepare closing documents, trust letters, and statements of adjustments.
- Oversee closings, including funds flow, document registration, and post-closing deliverables.
- Support lawyers with drafting and reviewing commercial leases, subleases, lease amendments, and related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and review of loan and security documentation for various lenders and borrowers, including private and institutional clients.
- Conduct corporate and PPSA searches and registrations.
- Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, and external counsel on closing requirements.
- Manage conditions precedent checklists and ensure timely delivery of closing documents.
- Support transactional closings including execution packages, funds flow, and post-closing follow-up.
Requirements:
- Law Clerk diploma or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a law firm or financial institution, with a focus on commercial real estate and/or lending.
- Familiarity with title insurance processes, municipal planning departments, and land registry offices.
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
