RTWT BILINGUAL TRAINER
RT Workplace Training Inc. (RTWT) offers two broad categories of training: (1) training for HR professionals, managers, internal counsel and others who conduct investigations, on workplace investigations and related topics; and (2) respect at work and related training for employees across many different industry sectors, including financial institutions, professional service firms, universities and colleges, school boards, unions, policing, transportation and law firms. RTWT is seeking an experienced trainer and facilitator to deliver training on both categories of training, develop and update training content, and train the team of trainers. Training sessions are offered remotely and in-person so some travel will be required.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, develop and deliver "off the shelf" and custom training initiatives to its diverse client base
- Identify enhancements that can be made to the training programs and the learning environments and, in conjunction with the RTWT training team, create new training programs and content to further enhance RTWT's training offerings
- Identify new training opportunities and ways to promote RTWT externally
- In conjunction with the RTWT training team, and where needed, provide quotes and proposals on all training inquiries
- Oversee the successful execution of any training session delivered
- Review feedback after each training session and implement that feedback as appropriate
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships and identify and anticipate their ongoing training needs
- Where appropriate, collect testimonials from clients for marketing and website purposes
- Regularly check RTWT website to ensure the training content is current
- Actively participate in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new trainers, as needed
- Promote RTWT's services by writing blog posts and contributing to marketing materials
- Perform other duties as assigned to you by RTWT leadership in accordance with your role and function
Knowledge & Skills:
- Post Secondary diploma/degree, preferably in the areas of human rights, human resources, law, labour relations and/or adult education
- A minimum of five (5) years of training and facilitation experience across a wide range of industries
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in issues related to workplace sensitivity and harassment
- Experience with workplace investigations an asset
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to train with equal facility in both French and English
- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure a connection with, and positive impact on, clients
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong research skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
- Strong knowledge of technology - Office 365, Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Adobe Pro
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in written communication and training materials
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrated emotional maturity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Positive attitude and proven team player
