Permanent Position: Construction Helpers (NOC: 75110) Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening No of vacancies:04 Business Location: A ST, Surrey, BC, V3S 2E2 Work Location: Candidates will be working on various construction sites across lower mainland Wage Rate: $24.00 per hour, (40 hours per week) Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Education: High School Experience: Experience is an asset Languages: Basic English is required Job Duties: Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas. Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities. Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites. Assist miners in excavating and in setting up and operating various drills and other surface mining machinery. Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed. Work Environment/Conditions: Outside, Inside, Heat, Sun, Rain, Cold. Depending on the work requirements, the candidates will be expected to work in the up listed working environment. Working setting: The candidates should be available to work outdoors full-time in the day or evening or on weekends if required.
