We are looking for an experienced to join our team in support of enterprise-level data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Warehouse/ETL testing, with excellent SQL skills and experience across large data environments. A strong grasp of data quality frameworks, test automation, and modern tools such as Python, Snowflake, and Hadoop is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end ETL and data warehouse testing across enterprise applications.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans based on business and technical requirements.
- Write and execute complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to validate data accuracy, transformations, and integrity.
- Validate data across multiple systems including MDM, Snowflake, and Hadoop environments.
- Develop and maintain test cases, requirements traceability matrix (RTM), and test data sets.
- Conduct multiple test phases (unit, integration, regression, data validation, etc.) within medium to large-scale projects.
- Utilize QA automation tools (Python preferred) for data validation and regression testing.
- Ensure adherence to information governance and data quality standards.
- Perform data profiling, auditing, reconciliation, and analysis of large datasets.
- Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or ALM.
- Continuously tune and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and data engineers.
- Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ Years of Software QA experience with a focus on ETL/Data Warehouse environments.
- Deep understanding of data models, entity-relationship diagrams, and data mart concepts.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Proven experience working with large data sets and data quality frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
