Forward has recently significantly increased its ability to write commercial property across Canada in both a lead or follow capacity.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the strategic vision for Forward's commercial property offering.

- Create, refine and maintain underwriting guidelines, and pricing framework.

- Assist in promoting the offering to brokers distribution.

- Supervise a team of 2-3 (and growing) commercial property underwriters - and build your team as we grow in this segment.

- Day to day underwriting of small to mid sized accounts across Canada.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of commercial property underwriting experience.

- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of market conditions.

- Experience working within an MGA or carrier environment is an asset.

- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

- CIP, FCIP, or other relevant designations preferred.
