Operations Manager (Confidential Employer)

Location: Stoney Creek, Ontario

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000

Overview:

A well-established and growth-oriented organization is seeking a Operations Manager to lead its business operations and administrative functions. This strategic leadership role is ideal for a seasoned operations professional ready to contribute to business growth, team development, and client satisfaction in a dynamic, specialized industry. Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manager plays a key role in achieving strategic goals, driving operational excellence, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational and Strategic Leadership

  • Oversee all business operations, including sales, service, logistics, and compliance with product and industry standards.
  • Lead strategic planning, performance management, and the implementation of business improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure achievement of financial targets.

Team Management and Development

  • Build and maintain a high-performing team through coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and innovation.
  • Align team structures and resources with organizational needs and strategic goals.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a primary escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the expansion of services and client relationships alongside the President.
  • Ensure fulfillment of contractual agreements and client satisfaction.

Financial and Resource Oversight

  • Hold full P&L accountability for programs and services.
  • Drive productivity, resource utilization, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of contingency and business recovery plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced certifications an asset.
  • 8-10 years of progressive operational leadership experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership role within a mid-to-large-size organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and operational improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with industry-specific tools and standards is a plus.
  • Ability to travel locally as required.
  • Satisfactory criminal record check required (credit check may also apply).
