Social Media Communications Specialist

As our Social Media Communications Specialist at Iovate, you'll be the voice of our iconic brands, playing a pivotal role in shaping how consumers experience and connect with us online. This role is more than just managing our social accounts-it's about and creating vibrant, engaged communities that celebrate our passion for premium product and inspiring active lives. You'll blend creativity, strategy, and a deep understanding of social culture to build and maintain engaged and enthusiastic brand communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Social Media Communications Specialist implements and reports on online marketing strategies for multiple Iovate brands through various social platforms.
  • You'll utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment, track relevant conversations and uncover insights to inform strategy.
  • You'll collaborate with the Brand, R&D, Creative and Sales teams to identify and engage with trending podcasts, creators, biohackers, industry thought leaders and key channels do drive our awareness and support brand positioning.
  • You'll create detailed reports on Iovate's social accounts, using analytics to track progress, evaluate campaign performance and refine/optimize strategies and tactics.
  • You'll oversee community management, actively collaborating with and responding to consumer comments, questions, and direct messages while fostering a positive brand presence and meaningful relationships.
  • You'll keep a finger on the pulse of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to identify opportunities for content creation and marketing to join relevant conversations based on passion points.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma - preferably in marketing, business communications or advertising.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience working in social media, preferably in a brand or agency setting.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, etc.) and creative best practices for content planning, creation, engagement, and community growth.
  • Strong ability to analyze social media data & KPIs, extract actionable insights, and set benchmarks to evaluate campaign and content performance.
  • Experience with social media management and listening tools such as Brandwatch, or similar platforms.
  • Must be a versatile self-starter, detail oriented, and able to balance short-term deadlines against long-term goals.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong multitasking, organizational and ownership skills while working collaboratively with internal & external stakeholders
