PeopleSoft Technical Analyst - Oracle HRMS & Financials

Position Summary:
Our client, an Employer of Choice is hiring a full time PeopleSoft Technical Analyst to support and enhance their Oracle PeopleSoft HRMS and Financials systems. You'll join a collaborative IT team focused on delivering high-performance, scalable solutions that support over 2,000 employees and mission-critical operations.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced developer and systems integrator who can contribute across the entire software development life cycle-from design to deployment-within a structured and supportive organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations for PeopleSoft-related issues and enhancements.
- Confirm solution architecture across modules, platforms, and integration points.
- Design, build, and test custom solutions in Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and related technologies.
- Prepare detailed documentation, test plans, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Deliver high-quality HRMS and Financials components into production environments.
- Participate in system upgrades, conversions, integrations, and performance tuning.
- Continuously improve system efficiency and effectiveness through proactive recommendations and implementation.
What You Bring:
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Oracle-certified training in:
- People Tools I & II
- PeopleCode
- Integration Tools
- Application Engine
- XML Publisher
- 5+ years of application development experience in a PeopleSoft/Oracle environment.
- Deep expertise with Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 and modules including HRMS, Payroll, Time and Labour, and Financials.
- Advanced knowledge in:
- People Tools, Component Interface, Integration Tools
- Application Engine, SQRs, XML/XML Publisher, Java, SQL
- Enterprise schedulers and process tuning
- Experience with software development and testing tools (e.g., Sparx, Test Partner).
- Understanding of modern development practices (OOP, UML, SOA).
- Familiarity with IT frameworks (SDLC, PMBOK, ITIL, COBIT).
- Cloud-based application experience considered an asset.
