New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a high-impact transformation project for a public-sector organization in Saskatchewan.

This role focuses on modernizing systems that support archaeological and heritage resource review processes and will require strong communication, analytical, and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Regina, Saskatchewan with an expected start date of July 7, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business transformation initiatives and apply established business analysis frameworks.
  • Document current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes and workflow models.
  • Elicit, analyze, and manage both functional and non-functional requirements across the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and document use cases, business rules, feasibility studies, and business cases.
  • Collaborate with project managers, SMEs, third-party vendors, and development teams to align solutions with user needs and technical architecture.
  • Coordinate and lead testing activities including UAT; develop test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to business SMEs throughout the project.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops, facilitate meetings, and deliver presentations.
  • Develop training content and facilitate end-user training sessions.
  • Support organizational readiness and change management activities.
  • Participate in consultant performance evaluations and ongoing engagement reviews.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst on transformation projects in complex environments.
  • Strong proficiency in business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
  • Experience conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and performing test lead responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent documentation skills (use cases, technical assessments, business cases, etc.).
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working on government or public-sector IT projects is an asset.
  • Able to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The hourly rate range for this position is $90 - $115, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
