Skills and Responsibilities:

•SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the SAP Production Planning module. They work with clients to understand their business needs, configure the system, and provide ongoing support and training.

•Their core duties involve understanding business processes, mapping them to SAP PP, configuring the module, and ensuring smooth system operation.

•Roles & Responsibilities

•Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

o Collaborating with clients to understand their production planning processes, identifying needs, and documenting functional requirements.

•Configuration and Implementation:

o Designing, configuring, and customizing the SAP PP module to meet business needs, including master data setup, process flows, and reports.

•Testing and Support:

o Conducting system testing, validating results, and providing ongoing support and training to end-users.

•Documentation and Training:

o Developing and maintaining documentation for SAP PP processes and configurations, as well as providing training to end-users.

•Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

o Identifying and resolving issues within the SAP PP module, ensuring smooth system operation.

•Collaboration and Communication:

o Working with cross-functional teams, including technical teams and business stakeholders, to ensure successful implementation and support.

•Questions on Make-to-Stock (MTS) vs. Make-to-Order (MTO) strategies.

•Questions on MRP types, MRP groups, and MRP areas.
