We're working with a well-established, fast-growing marketing agency that blends strategic thinking with creative execution to help brands clarify their message and scale their growth. Their approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and refreshingly unpretentious-and they're ready to take the next step in scaling their impact.

With a strong portfolio, a growing roster of national clients, and a talented in-house team, the time is right to bring on a dedicated Business Development Manager to help drive new business. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys full-cycle sales, thrives in entrepreneurial environments, and is excited to help shape how sales is done in a company that hasn't relied heavily on outbound efforts-until now.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll own the end-to-end sales process: identifying and nurturing new opportunities, managing your pipeline, and working closely with the leadership and delivery teams to ensure a seamless handoff from pitch to project. You'll also bring structure to the sales function by helping define processes, improve CRM usage, and set the groundwork for long-term growth.

  • Lead full-cycle B2B sales-from prospecting and qualification through to close
  • Build and manage a pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Craft tailored proposals and presentations that speak to client needs
  • Use CRM tools to manage pipeline and track progress
  • Collaborate closely with the founders and senior team to refine sales approach
  • Guide/support the creation and evolution of sales assets
  • Contribute to the evolution of the agency's growth strategy

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in marketing, digital, or creative services
  • A strong grasp of digital sales fundamentals: prospecting, pipeline management, consultative selling
  • Comfort operating independently and building processes as you go
  • Experience using CRM tools and working within a defined sales framework
  • Clear communicator who can build trust and momentum with clients
  • Motivated by ownership and impact-not just transactions

Why This Role

You'll be joining a smart, collaborative, and welcoming team in one of Calgary's most charming offices-a beautifully restored character space in the heart of the city, complete with plenty of space, kombucha on tap, and all the free parking you could ever want.

The team works in-office Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays, with flexibility when needed. You'll be supported by a team that's clear on what they're great at-and ready to grow with intention.
