Role- Java Developer

Location- Toronto ,ON(Hybrid)

Mode:- Contract

Primary skillset : Java 8, Springboot, Swagger, API/Microservices, WebSphere,

EJB, JSP, Junit, YAML

• Microservices

• Java / Spring Boot

• SQL

• REST APIs

• CI/CD

• Nice to have some understanding of Single Page Applications

• Nice to have some experience with Linux

• Nice to have experience with Ansible

Secondary Skillset : Oracle/SQL Database, GitHub, Linux , Azure CICD

Please find below the details of skillsets and tools :

Release Management: (Primary role)

Co-ordinate with different enterprise teams to facilitate the release activities, on technical front.

Create release notes for UAT and Prod.

Create and modify release pipelines based on updates made in the release.

Good to have knowledge of WebSphere , WSADMIN scripting language JACL.

Support deployment processes and issues on lower environments.

Tools/skillsets :Azure CICD, Ansible, YAML, BASIC Linux skills

Development (Primary role)

Java 8, Springboot, swagger, DBMS, basic linux skills (should be able to use ), github

have the ability to understand EJBs and JSPs to decipher/analyze legacy code translate into API Swagger schemas.

Develop APIs using Java 8 , Spring boot along with JUNIT and deploy them to WebSphere app server.
