Role Description

• Associate needs to work either in Saint John, NB or Moncton, NB

• Guide on the effective use of solutions and architectures in order to achieve business outcomes in alignment with business requirements

• Provide solution architecture design and recommendations to project team

• Understand business and technical requirements to provide solutions enabling business goals and support delivery outcomes

• Lead in designing, specifying, and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure, scalability and performance

• Ensure alignment with the overall Business, Application, Information and Technology principals

• Contribute to Enterprise Architecture principles and methods

• Update the Enterprise Architecture repository maintaining impacted components, relationships, and attributes

• Lead the organization in leveraging emerging technology and use knowledge of IT solutions to drive organizational change and support business process design

• Understand and support to software architecture design and support development team in developing solutions

• Estimate cost, and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development, and support

• Work with the Project Managers and Business Analysts to develop project schedule tasks and resource plans for solution delivery

• The Solution Designer brings value to the J.D. Irving, Limited companies by ensuring the solutions designed are aligned with the enterprise architecture standards and guidelines while meeting business objectives.

• You will work closely with Business Stakeholders, Business Analysts, and technology specialists.
