Your new role

As the Data Specialist Manager, you will lead a team of data professionals responsible for managing, analysing, and optimising data assets across the organisation. You will play a key role in developing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and enabling business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise and strong leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the data team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of data systems and pipelines.
• Developing and enforcing data governance policies and best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Overseeing data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
• Supporting the development of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
• Managing vendor relationships and data-related projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a data management or analytics leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and data quality frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
