One of our top bank clients is seeking a bilingual (English/French) Social Media Strategist to join their Global Wealth team under the Global Brand Management division. Based at 100 Yonge St., Toronto, this hybrid one-year contract position (with possible extension) requires 2-3 days onsite per week. The successful candidate will develop and execute social media strategies for Global Asset Management, working closely with a multidisciplinary team including designers, content experts, and account managers.
Key responsibilities include managing content calendars, creating and publishing social-first content, analyzing KPIs, and staying current with social media trends. The role demands 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, strong bilingual copywriting skills, platform expertise across TikTok, LinkedIn, and more, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities. Experience in asset management and social paid acquisition is an asset. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience with one of Canada's Big Five banks in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) English / French bilingual - ability to copywrite for social media in both languages
2) 5+ years of experience as a Social Media strategist - agency or brand side
3) Deep understanding of social media metrics and best practices
4) Experience managing and developing social media content calendar for a brand
5) Advanced platform knowledge, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
6) Strong writing skills are required
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Experience working with asset management firms

3) Familiarity with social media paid acquisition
