Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Sr. Manager (Java/ Microservices).

Responsibilities:

• No hands-on development required
• Overseeing resource management and day-to-day project activities
• Conducting performance reviews and managing team growth
• Approving vacations and leaves for team members
• Providing low-level and high-level design guidance
• Ensuring smooth project execution and collaboration across teams

Desired Skill Set:

• Strong experience in Java (11, 13), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Expertise in heavy multithreading and concurrent processing
• Cloud exposure (CIBC uses Azure, but general cloud knowledge is sufficient)
• Understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration
