Reporting to the Director of Consulting, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing innovative Power Apps and Power BI solutions starting with a major client in Vancouver, then moving on to other clients seeking innovative Power Apps solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement:
- Custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (primarily Canvas apps)
- Integrate Power Apps with various data sources such as SharePoint, Data Lakes, DataVerse and Azure SQL Server
- Power Automate flows for approval processes where necessary
- Communicate with clients to understand requirements, validate proposed solution(s) and support UAT efforts
- Provide input into technical blueprints, architecture documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Design and maintain code and component repositories that drive quality and versioning during the development lifecycle
- Plan and deliver analytics change activities using Azure DevOps tools
- Proactively recommend improvements in the data and analytics space
- Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure the applications and reports function properly and meet performance standards
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps development
- Experience with Power Automate and Power BI
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Qualification:
- 1-2 years of commercially completed Power Apps project work
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Microsoft Power Apps certification preferred
