Work Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid Onsite)

Solutions Architect - Wealth Management Portfolio Management application

Domains: Wealth Management - Portfolio Management. Significant experience in Wealth & Portfolio Management. Any experience of having worked in wealth management products like Temenos, Client Link will be preferred

Modernization Experience: Experience with large modernization initiatives involving Java monolithic applications to service-oriented cloud ready architecture

Technical Skills:

Experience in architecting and implementing solutions for large scale applications in Financial Services.

Languages & Frameworks: Core Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Agile

Infrastructure/Cloud: Azure Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, OpenShift

Databases & Tools: Oracle DB, PostgreSQL. Good understanding of data models and calculations in the portfolio management domain

Microservices

CI/CD & Monitoring: Jenkins, Jira, Dynatrace, Kibana, Grafana (Preferred)

Asynchronous Messaging: Kafka, Solace, MQ

API design and development (RESTful APIs, GraphQL)

Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Team: Ability to work with & lead globally distributed teams

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Overall experience of 15-20 years of which about 3-5 years as a solution architect.
